Tired of School

Why won't school end? WHY? I'm just so tired... the last week of school is going to be one loooonnnnggg haul. But anyway, I am tired of all people taking advantage of me. A certain person pissed me off during double chinese on thursday cos it was a free period and i was listening to my ipod. OK, so he put one earphone in his ear, i was fine with that, although he didnt ask. Then he says he wants to see my songs... still fine... THEN HE STARTS CHANGING SONGS, FORGETTING HE HASNT EVEN ASKED MY PERMISSION!!! AND HE CANT SING FOR NUTS!!! No prizes for guessing who that is, listen even if you are reading this right now, there is no need to get all worked up, I have forgiven you, but I still think you were over the top. Then you listen to incredibily shit songs and when greg comes to sample the song and puts my earphone on the table after deciding he dosent like it, you put the OTHER earphone in your ear, what the hell is your problem? Is your EQ 0? No.1: You dont ask for permission... No2. you take BOTH his earphones= STEALING in front of a disgusted owner. Then you parade around the class wanting totally uninterested people to listen to your favourites.. but guess what? NO ONE LIKES IT!!! By the time at least one earphone is back in my ear, the double period is over and I have yet to listen to any song of my choice... Bloody hell... then you moan that you want an iPod... STUPID GIT... WHY ARE YOU FEELING PEER PRESSURE? I'VE GOT A $6, 3-YR OLD MOBILE PHONE AND I DON'T TELL THE WHOLE WORLD I WANT A NEW ONE!!! The worst thing is that a few days previously you asked whether you could buy my iPod.. and argued that it was an old model. Do you think I care? Besides, I got it in June for my birthday in october, i opened it in advance. If you think its old, and your so rich, why dont you buy one yourself? Anyway, the rest of Thursday was crapl, tried to study in chinese tuition and after half an hour Weasley and I gave up cos Asher and Beng were too noisy, so spent the rest of the time making jokes and laughing. I think the other student was pissed lah, feel so bad... preventing others from studying peacefully.
Friday didnt have time to watch bourne supremacy, heard it was crap anyway. 3.14 were assholes during PE, didnt want to play with us although we had no space to play anywhere and we had only 10 ppl. Real cowards, a bunch of losers who cant play football but play anyway.... reminds me of fat lip last yr, at least he was funny, unlike snobby, picky 3.14.
Saturday was OK, no waterpolo (again!) ,and BB was slack. Only 3 activities and juniors ppl, so talked to the officers in Lang room 5 about NS, school life, Charles, etc. while the others were at botanics. Then played basketball (wow), and slacked until they came back. Had dinner in my grandfather's house, talked about horror movies at dinner and got scared.
Today, brilliant, sort of finished POD, supposed to be doing EOS now, wasted time at Dale's house for lunch, I was so sleepy over there, somehow Katong (or is it just his house?), is always hot and makes me sleepy... Anyways, my 5yr old cousin from London is here now, playing, I wish I was still 5, cos there was no homework, slacked in school...

Waiting for the Weekend

I know its a stupid title, but I am really waiting for the weekend-of the 10 week. All the teachers seem to be having their tests at the same time... Chua Chin Haw is screwed up, told us last week that we had 6 long and difficult chapters to study, crap. Today was bad, i think i was off point in the last question in the history test, it was a stupid question anyway. Question one was also a bit nuts, but i used a lot of contextual knowledge to pull thorugh. As far as im concerned I'll probably get average results, as only question two was properly done(or at least i think so). CRAP!!! My SBQ is getting worse, I was better in sec 2 than now, WHY??? I think that it's cos Chirnside is probably the best history teacher in the school, I was so disappointed when I found out he wasnt teaching Pre-IB history. Oh yeah, LA A was fun, I had an inspiration and sort of pontenged waterpolo to pen my thoughts. I dont think I lied outright, as I did have tuition, but it was at 6, which is actually after training, but oh well...
After tuition my mom's anniversary present of a treadmill finally came, and I used it first!!! Its quite fun, actually, better than swimming.
On Saturday, my dad got me to go for some church mission trip briefing cos he wants me to go to india at the end of the year on a medical mission with him-i'm not even sure if i am spiritually ready. He said that there would be a lot of other youths there, but it turned out only my cousin and I were the only BRMC people there, everyone else was either a ACS barker road BB Boy, or someone from some church which I have never heard of (Christalite Methodist Church, etc, and i thought it was an old age home...) What was taught in the briefing i think i already beforehand, so in hindsight, i should have remained at BB and conducted war games with jerome. Gotta go now, the treadmill's waiting...

Climax In Motion

Yesterday was Friday. Really, the bloody school changed Monday's timetable with Friday's, and the week started off with a sleep-inducing lecture by Dr Phillip Tieh. However, I was in a happy, no, jovial, mood, and decided to make jokes and laugh at him to myself rather than sleep. DR Tieh is probably a very clever man, its just that I think teaching is not the job for him. He is the equivalent of Prof. Binns in Harry Potter, full of information which nobody cares to listen to, not because the topic is horrible, but because his facial expression, sound, and basically everything which he does, is boring. Anyway, after POD had reccess, and Joseph Lau caught me sneaking drinks out... I ended up sneaking out via another door. Rest of school was boring. Dropped Ken Tay and Ivan off at Holland V for lunch and went home, only to discover that we ran out of cooking gas and had to eat Saturday's left overs, which was basically nothing but tomato on bread, and the parts of beef which nobody ate on Saturday-the lousy parts. I left the beef alone, and ate Lay's instead, along with the bread, and said I was 'carbo-loading' for the run. Yeah right. I should have followed them to KFC. Anyway, both of them walked over to my house, and Ivan turned on the party shuffle on iTunes, and kept missing Somebody To Love, poor guy. After that went to MacRitchie, where I found out how sh** GHK was this year. In the end Beng had to run for the house. During the run, walked for the first time, got stitch in the forest for the first time, but managed to improve my run on the road and finished pretty well, probably a bit better than last year. That should have meant that we would win at least a team bronze, cos that was what we got last year. But guess what? THE GEPS WALKED!!! Matthew and Song didnt give a damn, and Leon and Marcus didnt do well as they had hoped (same goes for me), but at least we tried our best. I feel let down, cheated, of another medal, but I think I can get over that. Went for emergency chinese tuition at 7.30 cos I thought oral was on Tuesday. I feel confident of passing cos I knew the topics which my tutor was talking about. Went home, did chem worksheet, and it was night night (This blog for monday was done on tuesday).
Tuesday... absolutely sick bio show-and-tell by ryan and muthu, I mean, showing 70kg testicles filled with fluid and worms is bad enough, but showing the pics of a cat being castrated (or sterilised)? Are they sick or what? IHS was interesting for once, I have always thought that Chirnside is a superb teacher, who is CREATIVE, unlike others. Chem was OK, Chinese was slack as usual, and core maths was NONSENSE!!! I mean, I asked mun sung whether I could get my stuff from the locker, went out, upon realising that I didnt have my book, came back in, and he asked why I went out when I didnt ask for permission. WHAT THE HECK??? Tried to take notes and listen, which I did, but eventually began reading chem textbook and followed Sean's example and went to sleep for the last fifteen minutes. Went home with the conviction to study hard, I think I should stop slacking and start studying now. Whoever is reading this, listen up... I, Ethan Koh, WILL start studying HARD for the exams NOW. Did work at home, went to tuition, and finished la a. Still got loads to do, stupid teachers all collaborate and give all their darn projects and homework AND tests deadlines at the end of the term. Therefore, every term's most hectic weeks is week 10, and especially weeks 8 and 9. The exams are coming, and do you notice that the years seem to be passing by faster and faster each year?

Chaperoned here, there, and everywhere...

At first, the whole class of 3.16 habakkuk was like "YAY!!!", when we found out that Wednesday was a holiday. Then came news that mr. Steven Ng and a couple of other teachers didn't want to give us homework, and we were like 'YAY,YAY!!!". And you know what? The whole 5 days were crap. Everyday I had to harm my back just to do EOS (Essay On Science) only to find out upon completing it that I had not put up an argument and some parts could lead me to be accused of plagarising. So, essay after essay has been given to us, and now I've been spending the past few night's sleeping in the early hours of the morning (12.30am) just to finish things like LA (A) and POD. Which reminds me, today (Friday), I realised that I had done the wrong POD homework and not completed the workbook and the draft is only due next week. Hence, I got screwed by ms Chia, who seems to enjoy takikng harsh action over seemingly frivolous things. Anyway, I could comfort myself in the fact that I havve done my work already and now have one less thing to do. Cross country has also been postponed to Monday. Why? Couldn't Dr. Ong just have made this a slack week and have the stupid cross in the morning on Friday, then we could skip another day's worth of lessons; sadly, they aren't on the same wavelength as me, oh well...
Went to watch a movie without my parent's or family for the first time in my life. Ivan and Darren were my 'chaperons' at Plaza Sing where Ivan tricked me that we were going to see the village at golden village. I nearly ran away, but then he showed the tickets and I realised that we were watching Ella Enchanted. OK, it may be a girl show, but it still rocks. Its a combo of Shrek, Shrek 2, and Cinderella. And the songs were addictive! I really want to watch it again, my sisters, tessa, and lala should watch it, i'm sure its better than that stupid show by mandy moore (A Walk To Remember). Anyway, couldn't finish the popcorn for the first time in my life as they all kept refilling my box with their popcorn, lol. After that went to Chor Yuan's house to play football. Played crap... total nonsense... failure... how I played so badly I have no idea. I guess I must have been a) too stuffed with popcorn and coke, b) To busy thinking of Somebody to Love and Don't Go Breaking My Heart from the movie, c) Tired, or d) All of the above. Oh yeah, stupid Darren told Zheng Hao that I cried and closed my eyes during the sad and kissing scenes respectively in Ella Enchanted... and that git told like, the whole class, and I don't know who else from other classes. OK, so I did close my eyes during the scary scenes, but I DID NOT CRY!!! GET THAT INTO YOU HEAD CHAN ZHENG HAO AND DARREN CHEW AND ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THEM!!! Friday had Charity Cafe, real fun selling stuff, until went to class to get 'reinforcements'. Cos Ali Chew told me to rest and study for a while. After chem ended, carol low told me to go to 3.15 to fetch some students to help her, yes I did that, but Siva came and forced Ali Su and me to go for IHS. Back to today, my father kept trying to help me with my LA A essay, but I'm sorry to say that they did not answer the question at all, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I let him continue to talk and get me to take pointless points for half an hour. Yay, I've written about what has happened in the life of Ethan Koh in a pretty short blog article, I guess I have finally mastered the technique of summarising stuff (nearly 10months late, cos I needed that for sec 2 final year), so goodbye!!!

A typical, typical Sunday

Guess what? I went to the 10.30am BRMC service for the first time in my life!!! To tell you the truth, it wasn't that much different apart from the fact that I knew a lot of people there and there was 10X the amount of people whom you would find at 5pm service. And Beng didn't meet me at church as he was at coro, what a liar, when he even promised that 8.30 would be playing 10.30 in a football match... after 3 years I finally go due to his pestering, and he isn't even there when I come, what an idiot. After church went to Dale's house. Stayed for a really short time before leaving, as if to emphasize the point that life is getting boring, I went to sleep for 1.5 hours at home upon getting back, I've never done that unless I was sick. I have no idea whether I am tired and burnt-out or just lazy. Anyway, to complete a boring day, I did homework, ate chicken rice for dinner and did more work, in between getting into a big fight with my sister who acted tough for one of the few times in her life-of course she did, I mean, she started it. But as always, my sisters start a fight but they are the ones who end up crying, in this case cos I said she was pms. Oh well, I guess its always my fault right? Its ALWAYS Ethan's fault for EVERYTHING that goes wrong. Later went to watch community shield only for Man Utd to lose, but never mind, we were missing a lot of players. The most stupid thing I did on Sunday was really putting jokes on Ivan's tagboard, he even got so pissed that he added an Ethan's Corner to his blog so that I put my jokes there, not on his precious tagboard. I realise that I should put jokes on my blog instead, but really, I can't be bothered.

Superstar? What superstar?

OK, today is saturday, and i'm blogging for friday, but anyway, yesterday was supposed to be the worst day of the week, the day when every thing was to be handed up... ... then we got like, all our teachers to extend their deadlines to next thursday, cos wednesday is a holiday thanks to rugby. Oh yeah, that reminds me, the rubgy final rocked dude! I made an utter fool of my self trying to grab flying balls, and walking with sunglasses and a cap- not forgetting the drums(actually it was two water bottles and a pail). I walked to the St. Andrew's side to irritate them, and ken lim, zheng hao, got in trouble with a bunch of tamil tigers by aggravating their ringleader (although they were armed with black batons, they were shorter than us, me included, so it wasn't very scary), anyway, I caught the wayward rugby ball at their end and kicked it back to the ruggers (yay!). Back to friday, it was pretty fun, after math tuition went to my 'real world debut', quote ivan. First time I EVER went out to Orchard for movies without my parents. However, there was no movie, except the village, which I had no intention of watching, so went bowling for the first time in 3-5years(I can't even remember when I last bowled, except that it was at SSC), and my average was crap. I used to be able to hit 100 at best and 85 at worst in PRIMARY school, now I hit a record low of 53. After bowling took cab to holland v, and the cabbie was nuts, swearing in hokkein, english, and talking about prostitutes, working for his entire life and only being able to afford the car's steering wheel, and touching women. Funny old man, he is. At burger king met the 3.16 band, before going home with ivan for 30 mins to print a banner. AC Superstar was seriously a waste of money, the singing was crap, and to think someone with a sorethroat won, beating 4 other healthy contestants. During the interval I spotted my cousin from MGS and I was suspicious as to why she was there, and she even ran away when she saw me.Hmmm... So I just had to find out who she was with, but unfortunately, she was with her girlfriends and not a boy. Shawn Tan and Aizat were idiots, telling me that some girl had a crush on me (she thought I was cute, duh!!!), and she did look a bit sheepish, covering her face, anyway, ming wei was no help, taking my number from bryan loke's phone and giving it to her. I told her my number was 62353535-lol, piza hut!!! I spent a lot of time screaming at a pitch few boys can reach, much to ming wei's dismay. Oh yeah, another girl from SCGS, whom Ming Wei has had a crush on for ages but claims it is me who has a crush on her, turned up and sat on our row, prompting that dog to blush and say,''Ethan, look who's here". What a coward, if he likes her, he should just say so, right? Anyway, I loved the auditions, they were hilarious, and mr. see teck hock really saved the show with his witty, mean, comments.
Today has been boring. National Day celebrations was boring, I slept, laughed at 'lance corproal' ken tay who bought his rank, although he is not one, and had the audacity to wear it with his incomplete bb uniform, and laughed at 'station inspector' reuben. Besides that, melvin and I just had a couple of run-ins with mr leong, but that's it. How boring is that? Are you happy that I have condensed 3 days into one blog ivan? I think that you're the only person who bothers to read my blog, so I'm done for today. Back to doing my recipe, and in line with today's superstar theme, I've got a cliche( or maybe an altered cliche) ending...ready?
Seacrest, no, Ethan, OUT!!!
