the importance of being impulsive

or rather, the lack of it. impulsivity is bad. this is why:

why impulsivity is bad situation 1:

you rashly decide to break your xiao ji eating record of 9 in one day and go ahead and eat 10. thats on top of eating a plate of chicken rice + a hash brown + an egg + 2 drinks.

if i don't come to school tomorrow morning i'll know why. -justin seah.

i'll probably come to school tomorrow mourning the sudden gain in kg. darn.

why impulsivity is bad situation 2:

don't ever succumb to the impulse of trying to scare your teacher by hiding in a cupboard waiting for him to open the door and then booing him. cos if you have the balls to do it that time you may not have them if you are dumb enough to do it a second time.

Journey to the West...wait, HK's north, arghs

leaving for hk in a few hours, arghs! cant see ronin at the esplanade tomorrow... noooooooooooooo!!! nehmine, at least i'll be able to watch jay chou in concert (erm, ok?).

anyway, aq camp was held over the weekend, and supposedly i was the camp chairman. muahaha. so i devised this uber cool night hike route which would take us from shenton way to orchard to newton to king albert park to clementi to nus to south buona vista to ulu pandan and then back to acs. but my plans were foiled by my fellow aq mates, who insisted on going back to acs after the king albert park stop. damn.

another stupid thing we did was when we entered a military restricted zone on sat afternoon for our afternoon hike. without a compass. doh. so we got lost and wandered the place, contemplating life and how we managed to succeed in wasting away our time at aq camp. oh well. at least the really cool thumb game kept us awake. and singing songs as well.

event 2 of the march hols so far was vios. no, i didn't get a car, as in the party vios. lol. got ivan 2 cds and co-bought a card with tp and melvin before heading towards the arts house, which coincidentally is also the old parliament house. i was under the impression that most of the old ministers were science students, and at the time art students were looked down upon, but obviously arts house sounded cooler than science house.

the party itself was quite cool. free flow of pepsi and 7-up, and well, darren trying his best to be a rapper. personally, i thought the lights were really cool. seriously! at 10.30 darren, melvin,tp,jj,shannon, blt, and i trudged off to adam road hawker centre for supper, and this is where we met the most le pak polis officers ever!!! so much for catching decadent yooth out at night... they were sitting at a table drinking kopi. thats the way man, thats the way...

somewhere in between this mad rush of happenings, i was at yishun trying out rock climbing, abseiling, and rope ascending. i also teleported to school for centrestage rehearsal and time turned back home for some tuition.

speaking of time turning, i just watched back to the future. it makes you wonder, what could i do if i could turn back time.
here's my list:

1. prevent hitler from taking power cos he was too dumb. i'll just take power instead. don't believe me? well, captain planet does! 'the power is in your hands!'

2. invent and patent the mobile phone as well as start up the company mobil. then i'll make ALL mobiles run on mobil oil, which is of course, owned by yours truly. muahahahha.

3. discover singapore before raffles and start my own school in bishan.

4. capture 2 of the last passenger pigeons before they become extinct so i won't have to waste money by buying a mobile next time.

5. bring a boombox and tons of cds back to the past and play kaiser chiefs. this will cause ppl to become really angry that they're being subjected to weird sonic energy waves, hence starting a riot. of course, i would've predicted this riot. ha.

jokes of the day:
what do u call a shirt-wearing tyrannosaurous rex? a t-shirt!!!
romeo and juliet were found dead on the floor with nothing but a puddle of water a broken glass bowl found at the crime scene. how did they die? they were pushed off the table, cos they're fish!

arghs.

slac-KING.

The class of kings, 5.8, is a really mugger class. seriously.

Fortunately for me, and unfortunately for others in the class, the past week has been one of slackness which will probably never be repeated again. monday was slack, tuesday slacker, and today, wednesday week b, the most HORRIBLE day on my timetable, evolved into the bestest day ever.

First, bio. the prac was cool, pretending to be Yan from Yan Can Cook while chopping beetroot. Then, mrs tay gave us a break for the first time this year. this was good cos it was fried food day, and going for an early break meant no queues!

Then, recess and chem. chem was like, 2hrs 20mins but shortened to 1hr 20mins thanks to mr tan.

Finally, chinese period. relief teacher walks in 15 mins late. no one has brought their books. lots of ppl gone for track.

muahahaha.

-sudden random thought-

we lost to ri in the tennis finals. arghs. never mind, there's always next year.

-random thought disappears-

i've become so slack that i'm even beginning to procrastinate at doing things i want to do. such as learning new songs on the guitar, going running, cycling, etc. the only thing i can do without much trouble is head down to the kitchen. i can tell that this is not good. perhaps i should see a doctor?

hmm...let me think about it...

the asdewrtavfawsfcra post

this is the asdewrtdasfvvdad post.

apt title, cos it sums up week 9 of school real nicely.

1. Got kicked while playing soccer on monday, ruling me out from playing on tuesday. cold turkey treatment sucks...big time.
2. Founder's Day was crazy. centrestage, class party, and then shopping from 8-9.30 at taka for ur sunday school teacher's wedding takes a lot out of you.
3. Friday. JAE results day=more tears shed than ever seen before at the acsi campus. felt sorry for those who underwent severe stress cos i know how it feels like...(memories of psle results come flooding back)... anyway, one funny bit was when chris got 2 decks confiscated, but made one disappear, hence ms luah only managed to confiscate 1 deck. i commented that it was practical magic and next time someone wanted to confiscate my phone, i would use that trick. guess what. got caught usnig handphone in the audi and it got confiscated. fortunately, pleading and begging works as well, lol.
4. Alex's wedding. jokingly told him i'd play the triangle...and he seriously thought i would! kwee san handed my an ang bao saying that it was alex's way of saying thank you for playing... but i wasn't. dang. jack. oopster. so when alex on stage thanking ppl, he got to the musicians and asked aloud,"where is our triangle man? ethan where are you???''

the shock. the maluness. oh well. at the reception later, alex decreed that i must atone for my sin by playing the triangle at all the other sunday school teacher's weddings when they get married. nooooooo!!! lol. i'd much rather play the circle. haha.

if this post seems disjointed.
it
is.
crazy as it seems, i'm actually feeling rather stressed that term is ending.
school seems so much more tiring this year.
i long for 2005, where life was simpler. where there was less pain. less responsibility. less...

oh damn. i'm becoming emo.

warning gentlemen, this is a nuclear device...

when emoness hits you, it contaminates and spreads throughout you, then u listen to simple plan and contemplate complex things such as suicide and running away. ironic isn't it? simple plan + emo= complexity.

damn them. much better.

in order to prevent the spread of emo-ness. hide in a great glass elevator, prefably somewhere in the sky, and observe the world through the glass. then press a button and head for your space station where you zone out into space.

i wonder if anyone got that?
