boo.

ok, so i havent blogged in quite a while. well, basically i went with s.low and mat to watch queen, its a kinda magic at the esplanade last week. it was damn cool la. how many times do you get to see middle aged folk, probably ur parents age, jumping up and down, shaking their butts, headbanging, dancing, singing, and even air-guitaring? not many times right? which is why this was so kool. the 3 of us were like the youngest folk there, mixing up with the ex-decadent yooth... fantastic experience. the band itself was good, so good in fact that at times i kinda forgot that this was only a tribute band... or maybe i'm just blur.

then i was sick the rest of the week... spent my school hours stoning, before going home to sleep for 12 hours at a time. intriguingly, there is a theory that growth is linked with getting sufficient rest. curious, i decided to check my height. to be truthful, i think i seriously grew a bit, a tiny bit.

anyway, friday was the lunar new year celebrations. i thought it was the cheesiest celebration EVER! damnit, why on earth did they get a guy with an accent to speak in ENGLISH during the celebrations. we're not SUPPOSED to understand anything and hence end up talking among ourselves! wait, actually...

45 more minutes...

before man utd take on liverpool.

i honestly think we're going to win 3-0, so ya, we will!

anyway, there goes my new years resolution out the window. i've successfully managed to slack, feel guilty, but continue procrastinating for one whole day. well, actually i did do math, but that was easy... stupid chem. told myself yesterday i'd read it thoroughly today but nooooooooooooo, i skim through it and then go off kicking the football.

seriously, i think the football in my room is destructive both physically and psychologically. physically cos its made me sprain my ankle AND break the blinds before, and psychologically cos it gives me reason to slack.

thankfully, i've thought of the perfect antidote to end my troubles with procrastination. basically, i procrastinate by playing football cos i tell myself i should be studying. so if i just reverse my priorities, problem solved! simple eh? aim to play football and slack instead of study, and automatically my mind will procrastinate on the matter at hand by urging me to study.

i think i could write an entire thesis on this.
but then in order to procrastinate enough so as to finish it i would have to tell myself that i want to play a real 90 minute game of football...

damn.

A Bridging Week

Last week was a bridging week (haha, abridging)... basically means that it was slack. we spent our time playing soccer, playing more soccer, and ponning a lecture, lol. besides that, it was quite uneventful. the real highlight was on monday, where 4.16 2005 set up shop in a corner and had a sing a long session, led by zh and darren on guitars. here was the playlist:
i dont wanna miss a thing, aerosmith.
wish you were here, pink floyd.
november rain, guns n roses.

AND

CRAZY SON, ronin.

then we decided to troop around the school carolling to various ppl and also to the new ib students who were probably dying of boredom in the audi. and so, being the shameless twats that we are, around half of .16 05 dared the deed.

fortunately, we didnt get into trouble, as most teachers found it quite amusing.

my old class pwnz joo!!!

This Orientated Week...

Once I got back from England, basically i was freakin' jet-lagged, had lots of new year parties and functions to attend, and was really grumpy and tired. then before i knew it school came and i was back in the routine which i follow for 9 months of my life every year. Or so i thought. this week has been a real funny experience, cos despite returning to acsi, it really wasn't the acs i knew. haha (re-read the sentence again dangit!). and so it was weird for me to see girls walking around in school and i guess lots of ppl from 4.16 felt the same way, considering that we stayed together for the talks, breaks, etc.

Day One was boring due to the long hours of talk and few hours of action. even then the action was not really action as it consisted of ice-breakers and flag drawing. oh well. anyway, i thought the there was really acs and i liked the way the order of the cereal defeated the opposing faction, french toast, hands down. (ok, it was a draw, but in our hearts we won!)

Day Two was slightly more fun. Being cameraman was a privilege as i got to pon the mass dance. muahahahaha. I cant remember what else happened cos i spent my time slacking with the camera.

Day Three was the acsiting race. now THIS was fun. running around singapore, getting chased out of the esplanade, getting caught in the rain, scouring holland v for the hottest guy around (lol), having a 90min lunch break, and getting lost and muddy at marina bay all managed to both tire and excite us. oh yea, then there was the stupid game, 'honey, smile if you love me' game where i had no idea what to do and ended up jacking myself quite badly. arghs, stoopid decadent yooth game is not what i like.

Day Four was the last day of orientation and can best be summed up by a screwed up telematch where everyone cheated, and skits. our groups skit consisted of the girls and jeremy wearing funny hats and singing a whole new world, while the rest of us danced at the back...with male partners. that is the ghey. tsk. then there were the cool jokes made by ashvin such as," we're going to build an ib campus......on uranus", darren acting french,"u are so hot that when i'm near you, i become french toast", and jordan singing.

Saturday was bb practice. 0.o. being a primer is quite cool as u dont really get scolded by anyone apart from mr. sim.

Sunday is today. went to church, TOOK A BUS AND CAB to kwee sans house for class party, hung around and watched fawlty towers until 5, then WALKED AND TOOK A BUS AND THEN WALKED AGAIN to reach home, all the while being pelted with raindrops. yay, i feel sick now.

Cough.
