COUNTDOWN!!!

blt asks for a review of his new show, countdown. well, i think it can be summed up in three words (i'm a concise, sciency person, really!): funny, confusing, and admirable.

funny because some scenes are really hilarious, like when the triad walks in and 20 people wearing identical suits storm the office.

confusing as i don't get the plot even though i get it....nevermind, haha.

admirable cos i doubt most of us would have the inititative, and the skill to direct, produce, edit, and do whatever else he did to get the film done.

in short, great job blt!

in other news, coast pwned the esperanza concert on saturday, though acs (international) ran them close.
later i had nice beef for dinner. mmmm.

Hunt For Red October

this shall be the name of the game for drama night games. only problem is that it is in november. dammit.

since the end of the exams, i have told myself i would do many things, but obviously haven't.

fortunately, i am now 17 years of age which means this is THE age in which i will grow to 1.7m, cos last year i was 16 and was 1.6m.

on a side note i have achieved a decent score... 34/42 with an average of about 70, my highest since 2005. this was higher than my expected target of 33, so i am happy. or should be. all the closet muggers in ac hid in the closet and mugged, such that methinks the average ib score is 36/42.

also, monday was 23 october, my birthday! i spent it stoning,finding my perpetually stolen guitar,going to bbhq to talk about sharity gift box,and watching ed tv on hbo. what an exciting day!

in all seriousness, at least i am not hard-pressed to hand anything up. oh wait! ah, now i have cunningly crafted a things-to-do-in-the-holidays list into my blog entry, muahahahaha!

Saturday the 14th

0.o.......never did get the big deal about friday the 13th. went to chor yuan's house after drama and tennis to play abit of football with the cosmopolitan community there. i learnt that the french were the most hated community amongst the kids cos they're apparently arrogant twits who can't speak english. i also learnt that uwc kids are a superstitious lot... this pakistani kid told me that his teacher's mom died on friday the 13th, the day their new car arrived, with 666 on the car plate. ooooooohhh...

today i learnt that i had no life, as i turned down going to a party so that i could watch man utd play wigan.

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!

cos solksjaer kicks ass. he's so going to win the golden boot this year.

although many footballers do wear golden boots these days, dang.

Exams! OVER!

today i learnt that nuclear missiles aren't catapulted up into the air by a bunch of angry north koreans jumping on a platform.

i also learnt that i don't look 16, hence am not allowed into an nc-16 movie, despite me being all of 16 years and 11 months.

ticket guy: sorry, i can't let you in?
me: why?
ticket guy: to be honest ah, you don't look 16. sorry.

noooooooooooooooo!!!!

maybe they'll let me pay kid's fare on the bus next time.
