Stuck in a Moment

Listening to Stuck in a Moment by U2 now, and am reminiscing, in a very emo way, the past 12 years of school, as 9th January 2008, 1400h draws ever closer.

I remember the last day of primary 6, and the sadness which came with it. I remember emo-ing on the way to thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's place, telling my mom 6.9 was the greatest primary school class ever.

Today was the last day of year 6, and the feelings swirling through my head are similar to those 6 years ago. Curiously, I am also going to my aunt's house tonight, albeit this time for her birthday dinner. However, I believe that the experience today will not be replicated ever again, except maybe during prom. Firstly, we sang the school anthem for the last time in school. I thought I was the only kid to nearly shed a tear, but later I found out that quite a number of us boys nearly cried. 12 years of singing 'our ACS forever!' and now we won't be singing it anymore, except during those rare reunions in time to come.
Also, 4.16 Enoch made a pilgrimmage back to our old class, now 1.15 Silas. Argh, the nostalgia!!!

Besides 4.16 Enoch '05, my other class of 2 years has been 6.8 Galatia. While different from .16, .8 has become a comfortable place, made up of an honest bunch of people (as exemplified by madam, who would never let us off 5 minutes early), whom I have warmed towards over the past 2 years.

--------------
Well, now as the IB exams draw near, I guess it is finally time for us to run the race with perseverance (prefably run with others, as iron sharpens iron), as we are the light of the world, the salt of the earth, and time to soar on wings like eagles, while leaving everything in God's hands.
